Important LASER HAIR REMOVAL Information
In order to optimize your experience, please be prepared to answer the below questions. These
questions are very important and related directly to treatments and skin safety.
Have you been on a light sensitive medication in the past 14 days? Many antibiotics are light
sensitive. Check with your pharmacy if you are unsure. Postpone treatment until 7-10 days after your
LAST dose. Some medications, such as Accutane, require a 6-12 month wait.
Is your skin significantly or even somewhat darker in the treatment area due to sun exposure,
tanning bed, spray tan or sunless tanners? If so, please postpone treatment 4 weeks from your LAST exposure or until
you barely have a tan line.
Is
the hair in the treatment area dark? Laser hair removal will not work on hairs that are white, gray, blonde
or strawberry blond. The laser requires pigment as a target.
IF
YOU HAVE HAD THE TREATMENT AREA EXPOSED TO SUN, SUNLESS TANNER, TANNING BED, WE WILL NOT AND CANNOT TREAT YOU UNTIL
YOU HAVE FADED OR 2-4 WEEKS HAVE PASSED.
IF YOU HAVE BEEN ON A LIGHT SENSITIVE MEDICATION WITHIN 2 WEEKS OF YOUR TREATMENTS,
YOU CANNOT BE TREATED UNTIL 10 DAYS AFTER YOUR LAST DOSE. HOWEVER, SOME MEDICATIONS REQUIRE A 6-12 MONTH WAIT.

Your First Appointment
During this busy GROUPON promotion, please
FIRST try to use our online scheduling to make an appointment as the phones do become busy. The system is up-to-date
and reflects EXACTLY what we see on our end. Because your first appointment is a consultation and oftentimes
a treatment, we must schedule additional time. We try to accommodate our clients time preferences however,
for the first appointment we ask for flexibility so that you do not have to wait too long to get started. After
the first visit you will schedule 5-6 weeks in advance ensuring a more convenient time.
Preparation
You
will need to shave the treatment area as closely as possible the night before or morning of treatment in order to receive
a treatment. The hair must be removed from the skin as the laser needs to focus its energy on the follicle
beneath the skin. No plucking, threading, bleaching or waxing as the laser will not have a target. SHAVING
IS THE ONLY ALLOWED METHOD OF HAIR REMOVAL ALLOWED DURING YOUR TREATMENT PLAN
If you are not clean shaven, we cannot treat you and a session will be forfeited
Client Forms
You will receive an email with the details of your appointment. At the bottom of this email is
a link for the required paperwork, CLIENT FORMS. Please print these forms, fill the forms out COMPLETELY
and bring the completed forms with you to your appointment along with your GROUPON. The GROUPON voucher
is required prior to treatment.
If you do not present the paper GROUPON, you cannot be treated and a session will be forfeited
Day of your Appointment
Clients are required to be on time or 10 minutes early to insure all clients are treated in a timely fashion.
We respect everyone’s time equally and ask the same of you.
If you are too late, do not show or do not provide 24 hours cancellation notice,
a session will be forfeited
